DESCRIPTION
Hayati Misman (Konya, 1945) graduated from Gazi Education Institute in 1968. He specialized in graphic design at the Kassel State Academy of Fine Arts, where he went with a Ministry of Education scholarship between 1970 and 1975. In 1975, he started working at Gazi Education Institute, Department of Painting. He received his proficiency in art in 1984 and the title of associate professor in 1987 at the same university. He won fifteen awards, including the 1992 Greece-Turkey Abdi İpekçi Friendship and Peace Award and the 16th International Mediterranean Biennial Award in Egypt.
